Hiatus

So, I took a short hiatus from the blog. There are pictures to come from this past Halloween weekend. I just don't have my camera cord at the moment.

Anyway, for today...there is a blog I sometimes read and the woman who writes it (who has an adorable baby) does a Wedded Wednesday post every Wednesday that I like a lot. It makes me think about all things marriage and she usually asks a question at the end that makes me think about things.

This week she asked:

"What are the redeeming qualities of your man that you sometimes forget about?"

My answer....

Because of Steve:
*I never have to vaccuum
*I never do laundry (and there is always a LOT of it)
*I always get help with the dishes after I cook without even expecting it or asking
*I never feel mad, sad, anxious or nervous for too long because he knows how to calm my nerves
*I always get the closer parking space in front of our house
*I never have to stop at the mailbox on my way into our neighborhood because he always gets it
*I get to actually have hope that my dreams will become a reality (i.e. moving to Charlotte, being a stay at home mom one day, etc...)
*I get company even if I'm going to a store like Michael's or Giant cause he always wants to tag-a-long
*I never have to feel like a dork if I take up some ridiculous hobby like knitting, or scarpbooking, or cooking, etc...because he always supports it.
*I never have to be apprehensive to ask him to do something extreme (like help my mom run a three day yard sale on Thanksgiving weekend) because I know he'll do it for me.
*I know what it's like for a person to REALLY put everyone else first and do it because they actually want to.
